Desired Skills & Experience:

A successful content specialist requires excellent communication and analytic skills, marketing savvy, and the ability to enjoy working independently with regular performance reporting.

Responsibilities:

Develop SEM strategies in with oversight
Execute SEM strategies from conception to execution through completion
Identify areas of opportunity and inefficiency that can lead to a greater increase in KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) while maintaining budget efficiencies
Perform daily operations of accounts and campaigns including but not limited to:
- Keyword optimizations and refinement
- Creating unique and compelling ad copy
- Familiar with creating and executing bid strategies to achieve the highest ROI
- Creating and adjusting ad extensions
- Conduct analysis to measure performance and drive strategy and discussion
- Stay up-to-date on changes to the Paid Search space
Work with team to execute ad hoc requests as needed
Providing reliable reporting consumable both internally and by clients

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience with Google Adwords
Understanding of paid search
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word
Quality writing and verbal communication skill is a necessity
Passionate about SEM and digital space
Google Adwords certified required
Google Analytics certified required

Not required, but pluses include:

Bing Ads certification a plus
Install, work in, and leverage the following tools:
- Google Tage Manager
- Google Data Studio
- Google /. Bing Webmaster Tools
- Google My Business
- Social Media Ad Managers
- Other analytics tools such as DoubleClick, SEM Rush, Ahrefs, Heat Mapping Software, Etc.
Knowledge and experience with programmatic
Knowledge of SEO is a plus

Compensation:

Effective hours will be negotiated prior to work beginning at a rate commensurate to the contractor’s level of experience and the engagement requirements. Negotiable
